Sydney – day 2

A visit to the Opera House – have I mentioned the Opera House before? Went on a guided tour around the Opera House, which was of great interest and I managed to take a few photos. I have taken 150 photos of the Opera House, 99 of the Sydney Harbour Bridge and about 201 of them both together – so far, another day yet.

A walk through the Botanic gardens (more Opera House photos) finally landing up at the Sydney tower which is about 300 meters high. Had a trip – the enclosed viewing platform is 250 meters high but the Skywalk was 268 meters above the ground – in the open with a glass floor – there goes another pair of underpants! Had to wear a special suit with harness tethered to a rail – I did look a plonker!
